Principal's Message

Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School, home of the Lions, and welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

As a former Lincoln Lion myself, I welcome you to Lincoln Elementary School located in beautiful Exeter, California. We are a neighborhood school and proudly serve approximately 650 students in grades preschool through 5th grade.

High standards for behavior and academics are set for all students at Lincoln Elementary School. State standards drive instruction at each grade level. Teachers provide responsive instruction aligned to standards, differentiated opportunities for all levels of learners, and routinely assess students using common and formative district (STAR) and state (CAASPP) aligned assessments.

It is important to remember that academic success is directly related to students' social and emotional well being. While our school places emphasis on high learning standards, we find great importance in ensuring that the social and emotional needs of our students are being met as well. At Lincoln Elementary School, we provide students with a safe place to learn and grow. We have a caring staff who believes that all students can learn. We celebrate all successes and recognize exceptional behavior and academics at our monthly PAWS assemblies.

Communication is a key component to your child’s success in school. The partnership between our parents, students, and our school system is critical in fostering progress and growth for our students. Parent Square is the communication platform used at Lincoln ElementarySchool as well as all other schools in Exeter Unified.  At Lincoln Elementary School, as well as at all schools in Exeter Unified School District, it is our mission to ensure all children in Exeter experience growth academically, socially, and emotionally. We are a team, and as such, our staff is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact us.

Best wishes for a wonderful school year!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Tara Sharp, Principal
